Confession

I went to church wearing jeans and flip-flops today.  Half of that was a mistake, and half was sort of on purpose.

I didn't shave my legs, so I couldn't wear a skirt... so jeans it was.

We have all tile floors and I don't like wearing socks, so I wear my flip-flops around the house to keep my feet clean and warm... but twice this week I've walked out the door without putting proper shoes on!

Time to put a sticky note on the door:

Do you wear socks around the house? Flip-flops? Bare-feet?

The Other Me

I'm not new to blogger.  I have another active blog.  My other blog is a journal of sorts.  But it's more like a log book.  A journal of activities, not thoughts, ideas, opinions.... I want a place that I can express that other me.  The one who wants to learn to sew, admire photographers but will probably never be one herself, who wants to have more kids, and wants to talk about having more kids.

My family are kind of silly.  They like to make fun of people who blog.  People who are too active on facebook.  People who actually open up and talk about the real them for a change.  They are not good about opening up.  And because of that, I feel uneasy really opening up on my other blog.  Hence I just update about our lives.  Which isn't bad.  We (my ruggedly handsome husband, oh-so-adorable son and I) live in a crazybackwards far off land and want to keep our families up to date.

So here starts a new chapter, hopefully you enjoy what you read and we can become bloggerville friends :)
